I pressed up a limited run of CDs for this album since it was so successful in digital form. The CDs are very bare bones (e.g. no track list) and thus a bit cheaper than my other CDs.

about
Began as a spoken word piece, grew into a rap song, ended as William Facciolo's favorite song on the album.
lyrics
I will spread my arms like Jesus
Like the blind man, I will say “You all look the same”
I will laugh at the sun like the sleepless
Like the dead man, I will stare until you look away
I will mind my distance like the hero
Like the baby in a condom, say “I never had a chance”
I will know my position like the weirdo
Like the money on a string, sing for my cash advance
I will lock all my doors like the homeless
Like the raped woman, I will say “Keep your hands off me”
I will always come home like the soldiers
Liked the saved woman, I will love until you've lost me.
The sky looks grey from where we stand, pitch black from outter space
My blood, your blood: an icy blue until it all pours out our face
Red as Satan, kept them waiting... Sorry for the long delay
Here's your all: your good, your bad, now be along your way
And don't you bother coming back unless you really need some more
A loss is a win when you shed your skin, besides who's keeping score?
Better find meaning instead of screaming when speaking the words you know
Don't hold hands with land mines if you're going to complain when the earth explodes.

A friend of mine back in 2004 pointed me to this track and I was mesmerized. Been a huge Illogic fan ever since! Very nostalgic listening to this again presently. I would love to get this album in vinyl record to add to my collection. :) fyrin

I have been listening to variations of this album a long time. I remember I was living in a cardboard dumpster when some young guy was like yo dude it's gonna rain come crash on my couch. He played The Many Faces of Oliver Hart for me. I fell in love, I set my favorite track as Rain because we looped it when the rain came. That was one of the early acts of kindness I received in the nearly 20 years I've been homeless. @NomadRoamsFree
